Measurement term 2

                                                                 My Measurement goal is to find perimeters and areas of common shapes


      25cm
eg for perimeter   🔲 25cm you can do 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 = 80 then 5+ 5 + 5 + 5 =20  80 + 20 = 100 cm

                             5cm
eg for area           🔲 5cm you can do 5 x 5 = 25cm squared

To find the perimeter you need to add all of the lengths together.

To find the area of squares and rectangles you need to times length by width.

I can get bigger books from the library and try reading it also for the 40 book challenge.
I read every night so I can improve on my reading, I can also help myself move to bigger books.
I have to keep reading big books because I stop after reading 3 or 4 pages. I also have to read through the boring bits in books to get to the interesting bits.

Dance




I’ve enjoyed the cha cha practicing and performing to the parents.

I’ve been challenged by some moves in the hip hop, especially the one that goes jump jump down, jump jump down, turn. 

I have surprised myself by how well I did in the cha cha moves.

I learnt that dance routines are really fun.

I found it really hard on my first day, because I wasn't there on the first day we started.

I would now like to learn more dances from Dean.
