swimming

We have been doing swimming the over pass two weeks and I have learnt how to do butterfly better.  The thing that I found most challenging was doing lots of laps. The thing that I am the most proud of is that I did lots of laps of butterfly.

Visual Art

Last week I created a collage showing the ocean habitat. The three animals I chose were dolphin, whale and a octopus.
The features I am most proud of are the octopus because it pops out from the background and the whale because it looks like it is chasing after the octopus.

My writing goal

My writing goal is to: write faster.

Something I will do to achieve this is: To write stories at home to speed up my writing.

Reading - Our class novel

As a class we read the Novel Best Mate by Michael Morpurgo.

The best thing about this book was when Patrick jumped in to the water to save the puppies.

A question I have is why are all your books about animals?

I am feeling enthusiastic about reading the BFG.

A question I have is... Why do elephants have trunks and not noses like other animals?????

Reading food labels

We can use food labels to make healthy choices by looking at serving size- how much we should use.

Four features for instructional writing are:

1. Tile 
2. Equipment 
3. Instructions 
4. Pictures/diagram 

In my instructions I think I did well because you can understand it really well.

I think in my Instructions I should put more writing into it.
